Required Related Experience

Must have FWS award for Fall 2018/Spring 2019.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 30 lbs and sit or stand for periods of 2 or more hours.

Shift

MAX: 10 hours per week. Most shifts are 2-3 hrs each and occur between 9 am – 12 am (midnight).

Job Summary

Student Desk Attendants answer library-related questions in-person and over the phone,

check materials in and out to patrons, assist with Hold shelf items, and direct patrons to our Reference librarians. They also
help open and close the library, depending on their availability and selected weekly shifts.

Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Library information sciences or Law preferred; other majors and undergraduates welcome to apply.
