Community-Engaged Learning Communications and Graphic Design Fellow


Job Description:
This fellow will help CEL build capacity by handling assignments such as:

1. Acting as a campus liaison to different groups and individuals
2. Facilitating communication through infographics and adapting existing visualizations to facilitate data interpretation and analysis.
3. Managing news platforms (newsletter, social media, email notification, etc.) to highlight campus community engagement efforts
4. Attending strategic meetings to take notes and provide a student perspective.

The fellowship would require a commitment of 10 hours a week, and would be paid $10/hour. This position is a semester-long commitment.

Qualifications
The CEL Communications and Graphic Design Fellow should meet the following qualifications: Student at Furman University; ability to collaborate with staff, faculty, and other students; experience collaborating with internal and external partners; highly developed communication skills; demonstrated teamwork skills; strong organizational skills. The ability to use InDesign, Illustrator, and/or other graphic design applications is preferred.

How will the employee be evaluated?
Weekly check ins with the Director for CEL and CEL Post Baccalaureates to discuss previously assigned tasks and evaluate their degree of completion.
