The School of Management has an opening for a full-time position in Marketing Communications beginning Fall 2019. The appointment will be tenure track or clinical depending on qualifications.

Candidates must have the ability to teach a variety of courses to support the requirements for the undergraduate marketing degree and the graduate integrated marketing communications degree programs in the School of Management. Specific needs include digital marketing, media, and marketing analysis. Sales or sales management instruction experience will be a plus. Experience in classroom, hybrid, and online education delivery is desired.

The successful candidate will also be expected to collaborate across disciplines to explore creating new programs, engage in research and service and engage with the local business community.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity in engage in SOM’s graduate programs, and also may have the opportunity to assume a leadership role for the integrated marketing communications graduate program in the future.

Earned doctorate in marketing, marketing communications, or a related field are preferred and can apply for tenure

The School of Management will also consider applications for a long-term faculty position without tenure (e.g., a clinical position) from candidates with a master’s degree and considerable industry experience.
