Claremont Lincoln University invites applications for the position of President.
Claremont Lincoln University is a nonprofit graduate school with online offerings and a distinctive mission. Claremont Lincoln is a place where students learn how to treat others as they would like to be treated. Students learn the skills necessary to understand differences among religions, governments, other organizations, and individuals; how to respect those differences; and how to cooperate and collaborate with those of different viewpoints to resolve problems between them peacefully without violence.
Accredited by accredited by WASC Senior College and University Commission, Claremont Lincoln University graduated its first class in Spring 2013. Claremont Lincoln enrolls students across four online Master’s Degree programs with a variety of concentration options. Programs and Concentrations are as follows: M.A., Organizational Leadership with concentrations in Civic Engagement, Ethics, Healthcare and Human Resources, M.A. in Interfaith Action and an M.A. in Social Impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President serves as Chief Executive Officer of the institution. Fundraising and growing enrollment, while ensuring continued high quality programs, will be paramount for the next President. The President will be a visionary leader who will advance and sustain the institution’s mission for the future. The President will provide vision and leadership to refine the institutional strategy, position Claremont Lincoln as a leader in ethical leadership and social impact education, grow the institution and ensure sustainability for the future.
Qualified candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to ethical leadership and the ability to communicate the importance of the institutional mission and its programs to a diverse set of external audiences. Strong leadership experience in a complex environment and a proven ability to provide vision and inspire others is essential. The President should also have compelling fundraising abilities, the ability to work effectively with a Board of Directors and successful experience with online learning.
