Temporary Payroll Analyst


This recruitment is for Temporary Payroll & Benefits Administrator positions through UCI's internal temporary service.

UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) is continuously seeking applicants to assist in filling the temporary needs of the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine and the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange. We recruit for this position on an on-going basis in order to build a talent pool of potential candidates.

Payroll & Benefits Analyst
UC Irvine is currently hiring for a Temporary Payroll Accounting Specialists. This is a long-term temporary position for approximate 9 months to 2 years. Comprehensive benefits options are also available for temporary employees, including paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.

Previous payroll experience is required. Some of the duties include:
- Data mining through payroll.
- Run Pay Calculate from beginning to end.
- Have a solid Excel Foundation
- Post payroll to the General Ledger and understand the General Ledger

Return to Work - Benefit Enrollments - Child Support Payments - COH - Loan Forgiveness - Service Credits - Expense Transfers - Payroll Benefits Administrator - 403B/457B Inquires - Insurance Premium Inquires - Dependent Care Requests - Leave of Absence Benefits

Employment subject to criminal records background check.

Some temporary assignments may require clearance of health physical or require a valid California Driver's License for driving university vehicles.
