General Summary

Part-time (29 hours/week maximum), temporary work available beginning January 21 - April 22
at Eastern Michigan University's Psychology Clinic.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Work entails scheduling clients, ordering materials, answering phones, working with doctoral students, and reconciling the clinic accounts. The person in this position also provides assistance to the clinical doctoral program by maintaining student files, arranging food and managing logistics for Interview Day, preparing acceptance/rejection letters to candidates, sending out course registration materials and entering overrides into the system, sending notification of thesis and dissertation defenses to EMUToday, and working on student travel reimbursements. General supervision is received from the Director of Clinical Training for the Doctoral program and the Clinic Director, under the direction of the Psychology Department Head

Qualifications

Qualifications for the job include the ability to read, write, interpret instructions, and perform basic arithmetic calculations.
Must have good computing skills to utilize word processing and spreadsheet applications and perform file management; must also be willing to learn computerized systems for client management.
Knowledge of EMU software systems (Banner, Concur, BOE) is desirable.
The work environment is at the Psychology Clinic, located at 611 W. Cross Street, with easy staff parking available.

This position is part time and a temporary appointment.
This position will be $15 hourly.
