Department Overview
The Office of Admissions is a vital contributor to UNT's enrollment success through student outreach and recruitment endeavors and through commitment to providing personalized assistance to students throughout the college application and admissions process.

Job Description
This position is responsible for providing executive, administrative and analytical support to the Associate Vice President of Enrollment and University Admissions and interacting with offices including the President's, Vice President's and external constituencies while maintaining sensitivity to confidentiality and protocol. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Responsible for departmental timekeeping.
* Responsible for various special projects in support of the department or administrator.
* Responsible for oversight of departmental budgetary activities.
* Responsible for procurement of supplies, promotional items, catering of events, college fair registrations, etc.
* Handles correspondence and calendar maintenance.
* Responsible for the collection and analysis of data.
* Responsible for preparation of materials for meetings and conferences.
* Ensures required reports are completed in a timely fashion.
* Coordinates activities on behalf of the department head and acts as a university-wide liaison.
* Identifies issues or problems and researches solutions within specific management areas.
* Responsible for asset management.
* Responsible for space management.
* Responsible for retention of records.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and five years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced written communication skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
* Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
* Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
* Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
* Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
* Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.
* Supervisory skills.
