The postdoctoral fellow will work on the health effects of exposure to mixtures. The primary focus will be on analysis of exposures in environmental epidemiology: application of causal methods to the mixtures problem; construction of benchmark synthetic data sets; testing of various statistical methods using these synthetic data; applications to real world data. The epidemiologic research is connected to a second project on analysis of mixtures data generated in toxicology: estimation of the combined effects of groups of compounds based on individual dose-response curves. Training in modeling and analysis of the toxicology data are available as needed.

Required Skills

A PhD or equivalent in epidemiology, environmental health or biostatistics is required. Necessary skills includes environmental epidemiology, causal modeling, biostatistics and statistical programming, preferably in R. Laboratory experience is not required, but is a plus.
