The Jones Laboratory at the Boston University School of Medicine is currently seeking a research technician for projects investigating tissue-specific mechanisms of tumor-induced immunosuppression. The overall goal of our research is to understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms that supply to the progression of cancer metastases.

Primary responsibility:

  • Execute research experiments to study mechanisms of immune escape and suppression in the metastatic tumor microenvironment, including characterization and targeting of immune suppressive cell types and pathways.
Required Skills
  • B.S. degree
  • Prior research experience
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Prepared to work as part of a team
