The Application Developer will create, maintain and support web-based applications for the College of Arts and Sciences. This individual will work with departments and groups throughout the College on the development of applications to enhance, change and improve the current business processes. Additionally, learn new technologies, methodoligies and processes to update and make current applications more efficient and sustainable. This person will work as part of a team, alongside our system administrators and other staff of CAS Information Technology.

Required Skills
  • Strong interperonal, communication and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Certifications in SDLC, Agile, ITIL or other project methodologies are preferred.
  • This position requires knowledge and experience in AngularJS, Angular 2 or React, various distributions of Linux.
  • Knowledge of REST API, Javascript, MongoDB, SQL or similar database technologies.
  • CSS, Javascript and Wordpress experience are highly preferred
  • Master’s Degree preferred, Bachelor’s Degree required
