Assistant Teacher - Infant Toddler

Assistant Teachers are responsible for assisting primary caregivers in the care of six infants or 12 toddlers. Assistant Teachers share responsibility for establishing an effective environment for the children. Knowledge of Infant Toddler Development and of the Center's philosophy, policies, goals, and objectives are critical.

Salary: Hourly $16.82
Total Hours: 7:30 AM-6:00 PM, M-F hours varies
Career Position.
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit (or above) through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and a minimum of 3 units in Infant Development.
Final candidate subject to Department of Justice fingerprinting scan.
Final candidate subject to background check.
As a federal contractor, UC Irvine is required to use E-Verify to confirm the work status of individuals assigned to perform substantial work under certain federal contracts/subcontracts.
