Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with the creation and implementation of fitness and wellness related programming within the Recreation Center.
Oversee the Student Wellness Program and all student interns associated with the program.
Assist Falcon Center management with other recreation based programs and events as needed.
Complete clerical duties such as, but not limited to, daily deposit, member file management, and data entry.
Carry out additional duties as requested by the Director.
Minimum Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Management, Community Health, Recreation
Required Licenses and/or Certifications
Not applicable
Minimum Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and outside regulations pertaining to applicable fitness and wellness programs.
Ability to take initiative and independently plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved.
Skill in the research, development and evaluation of policies and programs, including skill in the collection, evaluation, and interpretation of data to develop sound conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret, organize, and present information and ideas in written or presentation form.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Exercise Science, Sports Management, Community Health, Recreation or other related field
One (1) year of experience creating and developing fitness and wellness programs within a campus recreation center.
First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
