General Summary: Identify the educational needs of diverse audiences in the Pittsburgh region to prepare for entry level manufacturing training. Coordinate the grant activities, recruit non-traditional students, oversee curriculum development, all activities and reporting related to grant oversight.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years' experience in both adult education, workforce development, manufacturing/ engineering experience preferred; availability during the day with some evening work.

Duties:
1. Liaison with the non-credit and credit division to develop programming in entry-level manufacturing and plastics.

2. Supervise, implement, and provide a comprehensive program by establishing program design, measuring training program design, measuring training success, and by recruiting candidates.

3. Recruit and retain students in the program.

4. Identify specific educational needs for candidates including career development programming.

5. Recruit, interview, and hire program instructors and other staff personnel.

6. Plan, develop, implement, and supervise the educational programs to meet the specific training needs.

7. Keep accurate records and data on the grant program.

8. Supervise and provide guidance and support to the program's instructional staff; conduct training/planning meetings.

9. Procure campus locations for each program.

10. Develop a marketing plan, assist with the design of brochures, and create mailing lists for promoting the program.

11. Implement registration and screening process according to CCAC policy and procedures.

12. Create and maintain relationships with local non-profits in the region for recruiting of qualified candidates.

13. Act as a liaison between internal and external departments/divisions and agencies; develop and maintain ongoing communications with existing and potential employer job practicum companies.

14. Communicate programs to the public through printed materials, speaking engagements, the media, and participation in related community activities.

15. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Clearances: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
