Project Manager

Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of industry responsive training, with an emphasis on win-win partnerships with businesses. Duties include collaboration with internal and external partners to coordinate strategic outreach, planning, and the development of training agreements with area businesses. Once training agreements are in place, the Project Manager works closely with the Program Manager, who implements the training agreement. Responsible for tracking business contacts, managing business relationships, and coordinating efforts to report training data to MCC administration. Also coordinates with internal and external partners on the development and delivery of new workforce training initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree plus five years of full-time work experience in project management, program development, and/or training required. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered. Experience with business relationships preferred. A valid driver’s license & insurability to operate College vehicles is required. Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. Hiring process includes a background check.  NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
