Savannah State University seeks qualified applicants for Classroom Support Specialist.  This position serves as the second tier support for all on-site and on-demand assistance with enhance learning with mobile integrative technology.  Assists faculty and students with incorporating mobile integrative technological hardware and software in classrooms and labs; provides timely support through service desk requests onsite and by phone.  Helps to maintain the functionality of all mobile integrative technology classrooms and computer labs; assists with maintenance of inventory for classrooms, labs and open learning spaces; recommends purchase of hardware, software, and related resources. Performs basic troubleshooting; makes decisions regarding the method of repair for mobile integrative classroom technology problems; interacts with vendors.  Collaborates with instructors to create instructional material; designs and leads professional learning.  Assists with development procedures for security of laptop carts and labs; trains new faculty; moves and sets up equipment.   May be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description.  Salary commensurate with qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or experience; experience in classroom instructional design supporting audiovisual equipment.
