TheFaculty of Arts & Sciences has an opening for the position ofCareer Services Officer , above grade 12. I. Basic Functions:The FAS Career Services Officer (CSO) is responsible for delivering career guidance, counseling, planning, and support to FAS students. The CSO assists current, graduating students and recent alumni in soft skills training, resume writing, and interview readiness. The CSO is responsible for organizing career development workshops and events and managing the online career portal.The CSO has an important role in identifying potential local and regional employers and developing and maintaining relationships with these employers and organizing recruitment events. II. Minimum Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in an arts and sciences discipline or in an area related to career services such as, human resources, business management or psychology, with 3-4 years of relevant experience preferably in higher education.
  • Knowledge of career planning practices and techniques.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills coupled with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Very Good knowledge of English and Arabic.
