The faculty position may be tenure, research or clinical track; performs one or more of the following: teaching, research, and/or service responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following: teaches undergraduate and/or graduate courses in engineering and/or architecture; advises students; conducts research; builds strong collaborations with faculty across the College of Engineering; contributes to scholarly publications; serves on departmental, college, and university committees; participates in professional organizations.

This position may be partially funded by Ohio State’s Discovery Themes, a significant faculty hiring investment in key thematic areas in which the university can build on its culture of academic collaboration to make a global impact. Thus, a strong potential to collaborate within the department and across the university is desirable.

Required Qualifications

Doctoral degree in engineering, planning or related field, or corresponding terminal degree in architecture, landscape architecture, or related field.

Desired Qualifications

Professional and/or teaching experience; broad professional abilities; record of scholarship, research, and/or professional practice commensurate with level of appointment.
