Position Details
The Facilities Management Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Floor Technician to join our 2nd shift custodial team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Sweeping.
* Wet/dry mopping.
* Stripping/waxing floors.
* Shampooing carpet.
* Cleaning/disinfecting vertical/horizontal surfaces.
* Vacuuming.
* Pick up and removal of trash/recycling/bio hazard.
* Dusting.
* Restocking supplies.
* Operate various types of floor equipment.
* Other custodial duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED and six months of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking skills.
