Position Details
The UNTH Administration Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a HIM Analyst to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Creates and edits NexGen EMR templates in Template Editor, including correcting/repairing defects.
* Works directly with providers to provide specialty templates; provides customized work and specialty templates.
* Successfully troubleshoots and aids with customized specialty templates.
* Analyses templates for improvement and conducts regular quality assurance of their work.
* Assists in the review of written policies and procedures for building formatting and designing templates and quality improvement.
* Recommends updates to policies and procedures as appropriate.
* Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have two (2) years of Nextgen template editing experience.
