St. Edward's University invites applications for appointment as a full time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of College Student Development to begin August, 2019.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, and service commensurate with Assistant Professor rank. Tenure-track faculty are expected to teach a full load (4/4) in fall and spring; summer work may be available. Supervision of internship, academic advising, service on university committees, scholarly production, and other responsibilities expected of contracted faculty.

Qualifications (required)
Earned doctorate in College Student Development, Higher Education or closely related field. University teaching experience in College Student Development or Higher Education with excellent references required. Experience in leadership and development of a College Student Development or Higher Education program. Candidates with a strong commitment to enhancing diversity in academia, fostering the university's global initiative, and supporting strategic priorities must be reflected in application materials. Successful completion of an employment and/or criminal history background check is required.

Preferred
Candidates should have taught coursework and supervised students. Preference will be given to candidates who have developed experiential learning activities in courses. Candidates with the demonstrated ability to work effectively with marketing and other offices to increase student enrollment are preferred.

Rank and Salary
Tenure track status and ranking of Assistant Professor is available; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
