Develop and deliver comprehensive career services for Northeastern students and alumni, with emphasis on graduate students in PhD and Master’s programs. Counsel graduate, and undergraduate students and alumni on career exploration, internship/job acquisition, and career management. Administer and interpret standardized assessment instruments including TypeFocus, SkillScan, and Strong Interest Inventory. Create and deliver seminars, networking events, and programs to meet evolving needs of graduate students. Maintain relationships with colleagues within the University, especially the PhD Network, professional fields and employers. Assist in delivery of all departmental services, such as workshops, networking events, Career Studio, etc. Monitor trends in order to help shape priorities for the development of new programs and services. Supervise graduate level interns and practicums, as part of the department’s intern training program. Maintain knowledge of career resources especially for graduate students. Experience in delivering programs with technology required. One evening per week required.


Master’s degree required, PhD preferred, 5-7 years of experience in career development or related field. Excellent counseling, teaching, event management skills. Ability to supervise and mentor a graduate level intern. Experience in delivering programs with technology. One evening per week required.
