Reporting to the Associate Dean of Students, the Assistant Director of Student Affairs performs a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and professional duties. The Assistant Director will be responsible for coordinating resources and administrative responses for CCIS undergraduate students. The Assistant Director will act as a point of contact for students in addressing community standards or specific concerns, and will support the Associate Dean in triaging issues and meeting with concerned students and/or family members. The Assistant Director will coordinate communication between campus constituencies and departments, collaborating with partners on programming and efforts to support a diverse student body.

Qualifications

Master’s degree and 3-4 years experience in a higher education setting required. Preferred candidate will have:
•Strong administrative, organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to problem solve with limited direction.
•Working knowledge of computer and database systems, especially those used at the University (i.e. ARGOS, Banner, Salesforce, DARS).
•Ability to represent the College in a variety of settings with both internal and external constituencies.
