I. JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description Summary:

The Office of Student Affairs at GW’s School of Nursing is responsible for the admission, progression, and retention of students and for the maintenance of electronic records for student academic history, registration, course scheduling, graduation clearance, etc. The unit also develops and implements student engagement activities and academic advisement support. The Enrollment Management team ensures accurate tracking of student enrollment data, data integrity and quality. The team ensures that the provision/release of student related information and records are in accordance with the Family Educational and Rights Privacy Act (FERPA), as well as compliance with University guidelines and policies, and accreditation standards.

The Enrollment Management team in the Office of Student Affairs is searching for a permanent full-time Associate Director of Enrollment to support the Director, Enrollment Management in the day to day handling of enrollment management, and records and registration matters in a timely and customer focused manner. In addition to providing support with maintaining student records on academic history, this position will ensure data quality and integrity.

Responsibilities include:
•Partner with the Director of Enrollment Management in creating and maintaining student registration, retention, and graduation data in clear and concise models.
•Analyze trends in student enrollment and success, provides key messages for review with stakeholders
•Collaborate with the Director of Enrollment Management in course enrollment projections
•Serve as external focal point for School of Nursing students and faculty regarding class schedules, graduation clearance, curriculum course requirements, GWeb registration, policies and procedures, enrollment and degree verification.
•Maintain policy and decision files, regulations, historical files and similar documentation applicable to the Office of Student Affairs.
•Manage student record review process: perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
•Partner with Director of Enrollment Management to present and report data to key stakeholders.
•Assist in data related projects for School of Nursing surveys, accreditation reports, and other requests.
•Responsible for GW Docs student record files and maintenance

Perform other work related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 5 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 3 years of relevant professional experience. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Additional Required Licenses/Certifications/Posting Specific Minimum Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills, experience with a comprehensive computerized student information system, attention to detail, demonstrated ability to organize tasks, and to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent records maintenance skills, and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality is highly desired.

Banner, Salesforce, and DataWarehouse experience preferred. Strong computer skills required (EXCEL, ACCESS, etc.)
