Job Details
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates Inc. (MFA), an independent non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with George Washington University, is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty appointment in the Department of Radiology. Rank (Instructor or Assistant Professor) and salary will be commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Responsibilities include performing vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures; interpreting vascular imaging; providing on-call coverage for emergency procedures after hours and on weekends; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; participating in multidisciplinary clinical research; collaborating with our referring clinical colleagues and administrative partners; and assisting with administrative functions of the department.
Minimum Qualifications:Applicants must be ABR eligible or certified and should have completed a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship or possess a comparable experience in all facets of Vascular and Interventional Imaging by the time of appointment. Applicants should have demonstrable academic accomplishments (scholarly activity and/or innovative teaching) and be eligible for medical licensure in the District of Columbia.
