The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking academic psychiatrists for full-time appointments divided between: 1) service on the GWU psychiatry hospitalist team that covers the inpatient psychiatric service, the emergency room, and the electroconvulsive treatment service; 2) service as consultant to the departments of Neurology and Neurological surgery treatment programs, (dementias, movement disorders, headache, traumatic brain injury, and deep brain stimulation); 3) teaching medical students and residents; and 4) conducting neuropsychiatry and clinical psychiatry research.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be license eligible in the District of Columbia; eligible for Board Certification in General Psychiatry at the time of appointment.
