Job Details
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit faculty clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, is seeking an academic hematopathologist. This non-tenure track faculty appointment will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Responsibilities include providing clinical service; teaching residents, fellows, and medical students; and maintaining an active research program in collaboration with hematologists, oncologists, and other clinicians and basic investigators.
Minimum Qualifications:MD or equivalent; Board-certified or Board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the time of appointment; fellowship training in hematopathology; and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia.

Our Cancer Center features a bone marrow/stem cell transplant program and centers of excellence in lymphomas, myeloma, and myeloid leukemias/myelodysplastic syndromes. Opportunities are available to sign out hematopathology cases and provide leadership of the Hematopathology Service and Hematology Laboratory.
