Successful candidates will have an understanding and appreciation of the innovative and creative Emerson environment and will have the capacity to thrive and lead within it. Also critical are an ability to work effectively in a collaborative and diverse workplace and a commitment to increasing diversity and inclusion efforts within the Library. A Master’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from an American Library Association-accredited institution is required, along with ten years of progressive administrative and managerial academic library experience.
