The Accountant has the responsibility to perform a variety of accounting and reporting functions including account analysis, account reconciliations, budget preparation and analysis, accounting systems maintenance and assistance with the annual audit.

Bachelor’s degree (in the field of Accounting or Finance) is required. An above average proficiency with Excel, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are necessary. Team player with the ability to work independently. Ability to use professional judgment and to implement technology into processes.
CPA certification is desirable, along with a minimum of three to five years of accounting or business experience, preferably with an institution of higher education or other not-for-profit organization. Prior experience with Banner is highly desirable but not required.
