Position Summary

The office of Non Credit Student Services in the School of Professional Studies is seeking an indivdual to fill the position of Senor Non-Credt Student Services Assistant. Positions at this level require an understanding of general scheduling and/or course-related work processes. Incumbents apply a variety of interrelated procedures where judgement is required in recognizing relationships of data or actions. The work may involve assigning classroom space, conducting a variety of production activities such as processing reports, updating SIS, resolving problems that occur on a daily basis, handling basic inquiries and maintaining a record of transactions. Incumbents typically weigh a few alternatives carefully in making judgments and are relied on to perform activities without close check. The work performed under general supervision.

Required Education:High School diploma or equivalentPreferred Education:N/ARequired Experience:High School diploma or equivalentPreferred Experience:2 years of related experience (with Associate's degree). 1 year of related experience (with Bachelor's degree). Experience in a large, fast-paced mail or production-related environment.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels both verbally and in person. Proficiency with intermediate-level word processing and spreadsheet applications. Familiarity with MS Access.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Knowledge of Brio, SIS, PeopleSoft, Destiny One, CRM-Spies, CVent, and intermediate to advance MS Office.
