Position Summary

The NYU Student Health Center's Counseling and Wellness Services announces the availability of five postdoctoral psychologyfellowships (appointment period: September 1, 2019 - August 31,2020). Our clinic offers crisis intervention, brief psychotherapy, and group psychotherapy with a diverse population of undergraduate and graduate students. An opening exists in this state-of-the-art and quality-driven facility for five PsychologyFellows. Under clinical supervision, these fellows will provide clinical assessment, short-term psychotherapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention to NYU student population. In addition, Fellows will participate in didactic and case seminars.

Qualifications

Required Education:Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology, or ABD (all but dissertation).Required Experience:Completion of APA Approved pre-doctoral internship.Preferred Experience:Experience in college mental health. Crisis intervention experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Knowledge and experience with assessment and treatment of seriously mental ill.
