Job summary: Project coordinator and laboratory manager is responsible for overseeing scientific procedures and regulating lab safety guidelines in a research setting. Must be able to perform complex laboratory techniques and be familiar with laboratory instruments and maintenance. Must effectively implement OSHA/IBC/IACUC/IRB regulations within the laboratory setting. Must be able to perform advanced immunological assays, tissue culture, molecular biology techniques and mass spectrometer sample preparation. Must be willing to work with mice, and primary biologic specimens of murine or human organ. Must be comfortable training, supervising and directing students, graduate students and other employees. Individual must also be able to develop new research protocols and procedures while maintaining quality control of laboratory work. Work in a semi-independent manner with minimal guidance

Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 6: $39,960.00 - $56,947.00 - $73,935.00 (min - mid - max)

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A PhD, MD or equivalent with two years post-doctorate experience.
