Job summary:

Responsibilities:

Execute patch clamp electrophysiology studies in single ventricular cardiomyocytes (rat, mouse), Neonatal cardiomyocytes (rat), and human inducible pluripotent stem cell derived cardiomyocytes.Execute calcium signaling experiments using TIRF and Confocal microscopy.Analyze and interpret data and effectively document and communicate results.Please send a CV to cliftc@musc.edu along with letter of interest explaining relevant work experience and career goals. 3-5 Reference letters.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Ph.D. in Physiology, Pharmacology, biophysics, or related field.Excellent knowledge of English (both oral and written).Design and execute scientific experiments independently, write manuscripts, and assist with grant writing.Team player spirit and dedicated attitude toward scientific progress.
