Job Duties:This position is a full-time tenure track faculty position in the DNP program. Responsibilities include teaching in the online DNP program that also includes targeted on-site learning intensives, curriculum/program planning, facilitation of and implementing innovative teaching strategies, and scholarship. Experience in quality improvement, familiarity with population health/big data, and graduate online teaching methods are preferred, but a motivated candidate with classroom teaching experience who meets the educational requirements will be considered. Courses included in this faculty role are part of the DNP Scholarly Project, including guiding students through the development of the QI project (e.g. scientific paper, project methods, project analysis, healthcare delivery system, organizational, and/or legislation/health policy change) via related DNP plan of study courses.Essential

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements

A DNP or PhD in Nursing is required along with a Master’s in Nursing (or related degree) and a commitment to scholarship. Candidates should be eligible for RN or APRN licensure by the State of South Carolina. Nurses in advanced practice must hold national certification as an APRN, Nurse Educator, and/or Nurse Executive. Current BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required if practicing.
