Job summary: The Department of Neurological Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a NeuroEndovascular Surgeon with expertise in the overall management of cerebrovascular disease (occlusive, aneurysms, AVM) through surgical, endovascular and medical therapies. There is a great need to cover the fast growing current census of such patients and a need for such expertise. Also, this position will require participation in the Stroke Program and Neurointerventional Surgery.

Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 0: Commensurate with experience.

FLSA: Salaried

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Successful applicants should possess excellent clinical skills and have experience teaching fellows, residents and students. Research experience in clinical trials preferred. Applicant must be Board Certified or Board Eligible. The position is open rank on a tenure track and is dependent upon the qualifications and accomplishments of the applicant.

Additional Training: Candidate must be a fellowship trained Neurosurgeon in Neurovascular Intervention. Also, BC/BE in Neurological Surgery, and eligible for a South Carolina medical license. The department has both strong clinical and research programs and laboratories. Candidates with experience in research will be given higher consideration.
