Description:
The Department of Art and Art History at the University of Texas at Austin offers a unique opportunity for professional development in teaching and research. Assistant, associate or full professor faculty positions are available periodically for artists/art historians who are interested in teaching and who have potential to contribute to the development of the academic programs and creative activity in any of the following areas: studio art, design, art history, and visual art studies/art education. The successful candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop a research program or other creative activity, collaborate with other faculty, and be involved in service to the university and the profession.
Qualifications:
Qualifications must be commensurate with rank and include an outstanding academic record, significant achievement in original research/creative activity and a commitment to quality teaching.
