Nature of Work
This is a highly responsible administrative position in the Office of the Registrar requiring keen organizational, communication, and intermediate data entry skills. Position is responsible for assisting students, faculty, and staff with general student academic record related issues and registration. Position also is responsible for training campus partners and presentations are required. Work is performed under the direction of the Assistant Registrar for Operations and is reviewed through individual conferences, reports, and periodic evaluation of results.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma plus 2 years related experience required. Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required; must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to facilitate and foster effective working relationships with students, parents, administrators, faculty and staff, and work autonomously on assigned tasks and projects. High aptitude to comprehend and grasp information quickly. High standards of ethics, honesty, integrity, and confidentiality. Must have the ability to lead projects, type 40-50 wpm, and consistently produce accurate work.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of higher education experience, preferably in a student services environment and knowledge of the Banner Registration Module preferred. Associates or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Salary $13.28 minimum - $15.93 midpoint
