Research assistant will work closely with department faculty on research-related tasks such as reviewing literature, transcribing interviews, compiling references, and so forth.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

The Research Assistant position is available to full-time graduate students, preferably in the Master of Public Affairs program. Research Assistants will work with Department of Public Affairs and Security Studies faculty on research-related tasks. Responsibilities will vary with the needs of faculty. Research Assistants are required to complete a total of 20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate class schedule.

Must possess excellent writing and editing skills.

Must submit a resume and letter of intent upon applying.

Preferred Qualifications

Full Time Graduate Student with GPA of 3.0 or above.

Current student in the Master of Public Affairs program.

Research experience is a plus.
