Job Description Summary

Through education, motivation, and leadership, the Group Fitness Instructor assists students and members in establishing and reaching their fitness/wellness goals.
The Group Fitness Instructor contributes to the overall success of the Wellness Center by embodying the mission, vision and values of MSU.

Required Education Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

CPR/AED Certified
Group Fitness Certification
Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, kinesiology, and anatomy
Knowledge of injury prevention and rehabilitation
Good communication skills and ability to instruct and teach
Work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications Special Requirements

Must be available for an interview.
Available to work mornings/nights/weekends
