Department Overview
The UNT Health Clinical Practice Group at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Call Center Agent to join our team. The Call Center Agent will answer questions regarding providers and services, follow the established protocols to schedule appointments and/or transfer calls to the appropriate clinical personnel.

Position Details
The UNT Health Clinical Practice Group Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Call Center Agent to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Answer inbound and outbound calls for the Health Pavilion.
* Create associated tasks and deliver to appropriate individuals.
* Provide excellent customer service and professional telephone etiquette.
* Answer line and all other calls that have been routed to the Call Center.
* Answer calls for all providers for UNT Health Clinical Practice Group.
* Answer questions regarding providers and services.
* Follow established protocols to schedule appointments and transfer calls the appropriate clinic personnel.
* Complete registration of demographics and insurance information via phone in accurate and efficient manner.

NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the Department.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

* Previous work experience with high volume phone system.
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
* Bilingual preferred.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
