Facilities Information Technology
Analyzes and manages Facilities core software application and work management system, AIM.
Plans, develops, documents, tests, implements, integrates, maintains, and modifies AiM Space module to meet FSU departmental needs. Develops reports for users. Assist with general support of the AiM system to Facilities users.
Analyzes and evaluates systems associated with AIM; designs and manages audits and tests to determine data integrity. Supports application upgrades and ensures reliability of AIM. Documents the development of AIM and assists with developing training strategies and designing user guides.
Analyzes work flow processes in AIM and implements processes to increase efficiency of the services provided to and from Facilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and four years of experience related to the duties of this position; or a high school diploma/equivalency and eight years of experience related to the duties of this position.
(Note: or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)
Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Knowledge of standard programming languages, concepts, practices, and procedures within the technology field.
Ability to utilize technical skills.
Ability to convey technical information to technical and non- technical users.
Ability to document existing and new processes.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of standard programming languages, concepts, practices, and procedures within the technology field (i.e. C++, Visual Basic, TCP/IP).
Anticipated Salary Range
Minimum starting salary $32,717.00, commensurate with experience.

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
