Description:

Albion College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Exercise Science who is broadly trained and is excited about teaching a diverse student body. Candidates must have expertise and the ability to teach courses and labs in the science and application of strength & conditioning exercise physiology with the ability to teach other courses in an undergraduate exercise science major. This position will also help develop exercise science/wellness internship opportunities.

The candidate must have an earned doctorate in kinesiology, exercise science, or a closely-related field (doctorate must be completed by August 1, 2019). The successful candidate must have a strong academic background in the science and application of strength & conditioning exercise physiology, evidence of excellence in teaching, an active research agenda that will include undergraduate students, and the ability to advise, mentor, and work with students with diverse backgrounds.
