Job Description

The College of Education and Human Development is seeking applications from qualified candidates for part-time, non-tenure-track adjunct faculty positions. The candidates must have 18 graduate hours in the field. Preference will be given to applicants who have evidence of effective teaching courses in a college setting. Additionally, preference will be given to applicants with experience with working with non-traditional or culturally diverse populations. 
 

Necessary qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in education or related field
  • Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the degree and field in which candidate will teach
     

Preferred qualifications:

  • An earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in educational administration/leadership
  • Minimum of three years of experience teaching in higher education
  • Experience in public schools in an administrative capacity; experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research; experience teaching in higher education; proven record of developing networking and collaboration with educational organizations; and experience or the desire to teach via alternative delivery modes (e.g., hybrid or online).
