M.Ed Curriculum & Instruction Adjunct Faculty Instructor - Louisville area

Position Description:

This is an adjunct faculty level position. Responsibilities include part-time teaching (including instruction and assessment) in the graduate M.Ed. Curriculum & Instructor program through the School of Educational Leadership, supervision of candidates in clinical experiences, internships, and collaboration with P-12 programs and classrooms.


Preferences will be given to candidates who have substantial experience in conjunction with P-12 settings as stipulated.


Qualifications:

Required:

Education: Doctorate in Education or Ed.S. WITH a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Curriculum & Instruction.

Work Experience: At least 3 years in an instructional or administrative role serving students in an educational setting.



Preferred

Education:
Doctorate in Education AND a valid teaching license in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Secondary Education.

Work Experience:
Preference given to those currently employed in education with at least 3 years successful teaching experience in a Kentucky P-12 classroom and/or post-secondary education instructor.



Required Skills:

•Demonstrated knowledge of online educational delivery tools.

•Demonstrated teaching abilities.

•Demonstrated higher education experience.

•Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft products.

•Demonstrated knowledge of adult learners
