Associate Vice President of Marketing - IWU-National & GlobalPosition Summary:
IWU—National & Global is looking for a strong team player and creative marketing leader who is excited to work in a dynamic and innovative culture. We have just approved a strategic plan that has targeted significant increase in marketing expense and the development of new education programs. With significant investment from the board and a dynamic leadership team, we believe we are positioned for growth and new opportunities.
Provide leadership and management for the National & Global Marketing team at Indiana Wesleyan University. The current marketing team consists of 12-14 employees. Must have an extensive understanding of digital marketing as well as traditional methods of advertising. Current advertising budget is $16M+. Must have outstanding people and marketing skills. Reporting Relationships:
This position reports to the Chancellor, IWU-National & Global. Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Consideration to offset graduate degree will be given to extensive experience in marketing field.Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop marketing strategies targeting potential adult students for the College of Adult and Professional Studies, School of Nursing (except pre-licensure), Wesley Seminary and School of Health Sciences.
Establish Marketing Team outcomes that align with institutional goals and provide necessary student inquiries to support the recruitment goals.
Aid in the development of recruitment and marketing strategies for off-campus events (i.e. professional events, community events, etc.)
Lead the Marketing Team with development of various publications, displays, etc., needed to recruit adult students.
Communicate and collaborate with designated academic leaders in College of Adult and Professional Studies, School of Nursing (except pre-licensure), Wesley Seminary and School of Health Sciences to encourage IWU enrollment Qualifications:

. Minimum of five years of recruitment and marketing experience preferably in higher education. Must have experience and ability to think strategically, understand marketing, and develop marketing/recruitment strategies. Must have strong leadership and management skills. Extensive experience in advertising and publications is required preferably in an agency setting. Extensive experience and understanding of marketing data analytics and identification of marketing trends.
