The Graduate School


Responsible for the daily operations and yearly planning of the Application Management section of The Graduate School. Manages and develops work-flows for multiple departmental application systems, both internal and external, for various application types (such as graduate, non-degree seeking, and readmission applications) for The Graduate School. Coordinates with other areas of the department to obtain information necessary to develop reports and analyze data regarding the different application systems. Provides administrative support for the Application Management section of The Graduate School by aiding in troubleshooting errors specific to the various application systems. Reconciles data to improve user experience with the different application systems.


Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, or a Master's degree.

Skilled in compiling data and creating reports.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills to include experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to provide customer service and support for applicants.
Experience with strategic use of social media in a professional setting.


Experience developing reports and assessments of transfer, graduate, non-degree seeking, transient, and readmission applications submitted through the application portal, Slate.

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.


If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
