About Fashion Institute of Technology:
The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), part of the State University of New York and an internationally renowned college of art, design, business and technology with a strong emphasis on liberal arts, invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in the Department of Film, Media, and Performing Arts. Within the department, the Film and Media program offers a major in Film and Media, and a minor in Film and Media Studies. Department faculty educate students in film analysis and criticism, and in all aspects of filmmaking.
The Department of Film, Media, and Performing Arts is recruiting a pool of applicants for possible adjunct teaching positions in a range of courses in film history and analysis--from Introduction to Film to more advanced courses in genres, national cinemas, and directors?as well as screenwriting.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. (or be ABD) for the Film/Media Studies area, an MFA for screenwriting, with significant college level teaching experience.
