Flexible work schedule specifics: Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.

Function: Provide and serve food to campus students, faculty, workers and visitors. Take care of customers and make sure that the cafeteria stays clean and well-stocked.
Essential Responsibilities: 1.Operate cash register and handle monetary transactions.
2.Prepare food per instructions and assist with food prep work.
3.Maintain clean and sanitary cafeteria, adhering to State of Ilinois Department of Public Health standards and regulations.
4.Stock food items after deliveries.
5.Run daily reports and balance cash drawer to register tape on a daily basis.
6.Maintain positive customer service.

Physical Demands: Physical Demands:
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity: Position requires visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e. custodial, food services, general labor, etc.) or to make general observations of facilities or structures (i.e. security, inspection, etc.).
Work Environment: Very loud noise.
Environmental Conditions: Typical office or administrative conditions (i.e. not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions).

Required Qualifications: 1.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
2.One year customer service experience.
