Job Summary The Department of Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Clayton State University is seeking applicants for an Adjunct Instructor of Biology position. The successful candidate will be expected to begin on January 5, 2019In compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, proof of authorization to work in the U.S. will be required at the time of hire.
- Teach Human Anatomy and Physiology lectures and labs for health science majors and/or Introductory Biology lectures and labs for non-science majors Hold office hours to assist students with their course work.
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree and at least 18 graduate hours in biology (or related field).Preferred Qualifications Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree and at least 18 graduate hours in biology (or related field). Professional degrees (such as an MD) are suitable as long as there are 18 graduate hours applicable to biology. Desirable qualifications include successful college teaching experience, ability and desire to teach Human Anatomy and Physiology lectures and labs for health science majors and/or Introductory Biology lectures and labs for non-science majors and ability to teach a course during the day or possibly online.
