Job Summary:

Prepare and attend to correspondence, scheduling and reports for the dean and process all mail for the department.

Support the process for securing course and division materials including, but not limited to, ordering course materials and receiving and maintaining division course inventory in collaboration with bookstore and division faculty and staff.

Ensure the accurate and timely entry of provided information regarding course and degree additions, revisions and withdrawals into Curricunet.

Maintain all office files.

Enter, file and follow up on requisitions and supplemental pay.

Enter and verify time sheets and leave reports for faculty and staff.

Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and maintain confidentiality as appropriate.

Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Position Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative coursework preferred.

Three years related administrative assistant or office experience required.

Experience with Windows, MS Word, electronic mail and electronic calendar programs required.

Ability to type 45 wpm.

Excellent communication and organizational skills plus the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
