Valdosta State University invites applicants to apply for an adjunct (part-time) position.
Hiring occurs on an as needed, limited-term basis. Successful candidates may teach on-campus or electronically; have the ability to work with a diverse population of students and staff; and have a commitment to cultural diversity and educational equity.
Screening of candidates begins immediately.
Adjunct (part-time) faculty must perform duties associated with teaching at the post-secondary level. These include (but are not limited to): preparing lectures and their class instructional materials; preparing and leading class discussion; providing prompt responses to student questions and inquiries as well as prompt and appropriate feedback on tests, quizzes, and assignments; and following VSU policies and procedures related to teaching.

Required Qualifications

Must have earned a graduate degree from a regionally accredited university with at least 18 graduate credit hours in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience at the college level both online and face-to-face.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform the essential duties of a position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to communicate with or without reasonable accommodation.
